Today was Mountain Day (Yama no hi), a public holiday in Japan to give residents an opportunity to appreciate all the beauty that mountains in this country so richly offer - and a bloody good excuse to escape the heavy humidity that afflicts most regions of the country!
What better way to celebrate this day than by taking an early-morning hike with man’s best friend up in the majestic Japan Alps in Nagano prefecture? 🏔🐕
